Building a better energy future.

We have no operations yet, so we have no emissions to report. These are the standards we are committing to before we build anything.

What we are committing to, before we operate.

30%

GHG Reduction Target

Our intended reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, measured against a baseline we will establish at first operations. We have no operations today, so no baseline exists yet.

Zero

Harm Target

Safety-first design is embedded from day one. Our target incident rate across all operations is zero — aligned with industry-leading TRIR benchmarks for upstream oil & gas and geothermal.

25%

Clean Energy Target

Our intended share of low-carbon and renewable generation by 2030, which depends on the West Texas EGS project reaching construction. That project is at site screening today.

100%

Ethical Operations

We commit to operating under the FCPA, the UN Guiding Principles and the IFC Performance Standards. Given our Venezuelan interests, sanctions compliance sits alongside these as a condition of doing business at all.

Our three ESG pillars.

Environment

Methane intensity reduction, flaring elimination, biodiversity management, water stewardship, and the ongoing integration of renewables into our energy mix.

Social

Worker safety and wellbeing, community investment, local content commitments, human rights due diligence across our supply chain, and gender and diversity targets.

Governance

Independent Board oversight, ESG-linked executive compensation, anti-bribery and corruption controls, transparent climate-related financial disclosures aligned with TCFD.

Reporting Standards

GRI Standards · SASB Energy Sector · TCFD · UN SDGs · CDP Climate & Water

External Verification

Third-party assurance of Scope 1, 2 and selected Scope 3 emissions and safety data is planned from first operations, aligned with GRI and TCFD requirements.

Climate Target

Net-zero Scope 1 and 2 ambition by 2045. Interim 30% reduction by 2030. Science-based target validation to be pursued once a baseline exists.

Investing in the communities where we develop.

We believe our social licence to operate must be earned and maintained through genuine, long-term investment in local communities — not just compliance. Our community commitments are embedded in project design from day one.

Day 1

Community Engagement

Community engagement and social impact planning are initiated at project inception — before regulatory submissions — across our development locations in Venezuela and West Texas.

≥60%

Local Content Target

Target local and national content share across workforce and supply chain spend at each project location, in line with host-country regulatory expectations and IFC Performance Standards.

3

Focus Markets

Community investment programmes are being designed for our three primary development markets — Venezuela, West Texas and the broader MENA region — in coordination with local stakeholders and government partners.
